Here's what people are saying about MAQET!
Sports Fan
"I am a 28-year old German, located near Berlin. We Germans love soccer and beer. In Germany, soccer is like football or basketball in the USA. There are 80 million Germans, and every tenth German is in a football club. We have our own fan club, so I decided to do something crazy and make MAQETs with our club logo. It wasn't easy at first, but after some tries, I got the hang of it. I didn't know exactly how it would look, but when the maqets reached me, I was so happy! They look much better than in my image, and they are larger than I thought. I got some for my best friends and one for the boss of the team. The team is playing in the second division, and every home game has 15,000 - 20,000 fans! We are thinking about making more as fan merchandise." -

"I got #1 on both Heathrows, very cool toy." -
Dov Kelemer, owner of DKE Toys (Los Angeles, CA)
Toy & Disney Artist
"I love how the pieces turned out. I think my favorite thing about them is the porcelain-like quality. These look nothing like anything that’s out there. They are definitely unique." -
Scott Tolleson, designer and toy artist (Los Angeles, CA)
Toy Legend
"I use all kinds of different materials...vinyl, resin, fiberglass, precious metals, stone, bronze-casting... By and large, the bulk of it is vinyl because it's the most affordable manufacturing process for anything of any scale or quantity. The main thing with material is that it's got to be acceptable to the collector. I'm not gonna make something out of like cheese or something that nobody wants. For a long time, the vinyl toy collectors were really conservative: They wouldn't touch resin or ceramic, none of that stuff. That's changed quite a bit lately.
People have learned to appreciate different types of material, and that's cool because rotocast vinyl is actually the shittiest material ever made, and all those toys are gonna melt in 20 years. Lately I've been doing stuff with 3D printing with MAQET. It's almost like a ceramic. What this gives me is instant turnaround time and everybody likes the new medium. I'll be doing a lot more of this 3D printing stuff." -

Gallery Owner
"Our gallery recently had the opportunity to exhibit the work of an up and coming San Francisco artist who included 4 different figures produced by MAQET. These unique figures (which all sold during the opening reception) were one of the highlights of the show and continuously drew questions and inquiries. The materials and technique were of a high enough quality to warrant their inclusion as pieces of art for this exhibit and we would without hesitation recommend MAQET for their quality production and unique look/feel of their materials." -
